I had an amazing experience here. The food was absolutely incredible and seasoned perfectly—easily some of the best I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant, and I’ve tried quite a few across different states. The refried beans were outstanding, and the steak chimichanga was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Whoever is cooking in that kitchen really knows what they’re doing—they deserve serious recognition (and honestly, a raise). Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu, especially the desserts. Chef’s kiss! Food: 5

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the East side of Jackson Michigan. Parking is free and behind the building. There stairs and a ramp available to get to the back door of the restaurant. It's an old building and although there's not much atmosphere, I found the black and white photographs on the walls to be interesting and quite well done. The food is excellent and abundant. I had a chicken burrito and I took half of it home for dinner the next night. Service is friendly and fast and our food was well presented on our plates. While we were there, several people came in to get their carryout meals and it was getting busy, starting around 5.30 PM. Sol Azteca is a hidden gem of a restaurant with excellent food and value for your money. They take debit and credit cards and cash for payment.
