Howdy y'all, BBQ Woody here. Got backnto y'all to get the bbq and do a review. Lose the old-school store-front and rustic interior. Very relaxing and comfy. Ok..so i go my normal pork ribs beans and okra. It came with standsrd Tx bread. Let me tell y'all, the rib meat falls off tthe bone and has a perfect glaze..no need for any sauce. Tried the house bbq sauce and NOT for me..nope..something different i hv never tssted b4. Thw sausage was super delish. Maybe you shld gv a little more okra..its the smallest amount i hv ever been served..but good. This place has S. TX. beans and skillet cornbread..mmmm yummy. Got a piece of their homemade apple pie and as a yankee i will honestly say"please leave the yankees to their aplle pies..i might even be so brave to say that my Ozark "Mason Dixon Apple Pie" has been said to be the best people have ever eaten. Been a cook, fry-cook, pit smoker, and baker since 15 y.o. Thnx y'all. BBQ Woody. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Parking: Parking is odd, but somewhat normal for small town America

Amazing BBQ & Amazing People! I was asked by my boss (at the last minute on my drive in from Pleasanton) to order food for 40+ people on a big BP frac job. I called Sowell's and spoke with Sierra and told her my situation and told her my budget and she told me she would call me right back with a quote. Not 5 minutes later, Sierra called me back and told me that she could fill my order and have it ready in less than a hour. Needless to say all of the food was gone in even less time and everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the BBQ. Thank you Sierra for making me the hero of the day. Cannot recommend Sowell's BBQ enough!!!!!!
