We had an amazing dinner here tonight and were blown away by the entire experience. The food is phenomenal. We kicked things off with the tuna tartare, which was incredibly fresh. For the mains, the lobster tagliolini was rich and smooth, and the octopus confit was cooked to absolute perfection. I wrapped up the night with their tiramisu, which was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The venue itself has a very distinctive vibe. The interior design is remarkably unique, and the open-kitchen setup is fantastic. We loved to watch the chefs at work and see the top-tier ingredients they use for every dish. What truly elevates this place is the team. Luigi took care of us for the evening and provided flawless service. He gave us stellar recommendations tailored exactly to our preferences and timed the arrival of each course beautifully. Before leaving, we also had a nice chat with Giuseppe, the General Manager, and Daniele, the Operations Manager. They took the time to speak with us and share some fascinating insights into how the restaurant runs. Flawless hospitality, a stunning setting, and spectacular food. Highly, highly recommend! Really delicious Italian food. The confit octopus was beautifully tender and full of flavour. The Beef Tonnato was also such good value at only £15 — I’ve had a similar dish at another Michelin-starred restaurant for much more, and honestly the taste was not far off. The lychee mocktail was lovely too: refreshing and fragrant. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, and the service made the whole experience even better. Last week I went to Spagnoletti in King’s Cross with friends on a Monday evening. The restaurant was completely packed during dinner time — lots of group gatherings as well as people dining solo. The Tuna Tartare starter had a very fresh and tender texture. The seasoning complemented the tuna well without overpowering its natural flavor — really delicious. The truffle pasta smelled amazing the moment it arrived at the table, with a rich truffle aroma. The pasta itself had a great chewy texture and tasted very unique. The octopus and potatoes dish was excellent too. The octopus was incredibly tender and springy, and the portion was huge. The potatoes were soft and creamy, which paired perfectly with the octopus.
