Made a reservation for Sat 5/21; drove from Sunnyvale only to arrive and find a note on the door that they were closed for maintenance issues. From reading the month old reviews, the maintenance is ongoing.

I booked via Open Table the week before for Mother’s Day lunch on 5/8 and had put in a special request. Only by chance did I call on 5/7 to confirm my request and heard the outgoing message say to send an email. And thankfully I did not blow it off, I did send an email which generated an automatic reply saying Spatch was closed due to a flood in the kitchen and wouldn’t reopen until end of May! Left my family of 10 (we had 2 tables of 5) to scramble to find another restaurant on the morning of Mother’s Day. This could have been prevented if Spatch had been proactive by not being available on Open Table and having this on their outgoing message when you call. No apology so far - very disappointed and will not be going there ever.

They were not opened The sign on the door said closed for maintenence. It was a waste of my time.
