We had dinner at this restaurant around 8pm. Place was not busy. Food was decent. We forgot to specify spice level so we had to request spicy sauce. Main reason for two star experience was their service. Server was always rushing - taking order, collecting silverware, picking up plates, check etc. even though we were working on it. We did not stop by at their closing time so cannot get the rush. Water glasses had white spots on it. Server even collected signed checks when we were eating, and threw customer copies back on the table. This kind of service is totally unacceptable. Hope potential customers read this review before opting to dine in. We will never be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

How come I give it 4 stars for food, 4 stars for service, and 3 stars for atmosphere... but it averages 5 stars? Well... First, I just really, really like this place! Second, you have to know what to order. Their Northern Chinese is -- sorry to say this -- mushy, under flavored, and substandard. I give it 3 stars, at best. But their Sichuan stuff is fantastic! Which means, the only way to really, truly enjoy this place is If you bring a reasonable spice tolerance. If you're a Westerner like me, find something on the menu that looks unfamiliar, and order that. Or get some help from the waitstaff. The Country Style Fish with the pickled cabbage is a good start. There's something -- I forget what it's called -- but it's something like "Chicken with two kinds of spicy pepper." Go forth and explore! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I placed an order of “house fried rice” and chicken lo mein, and when I went to open my box at home it was just white rice without any of the toppings in the order.
