Lovingly run and affordable pop-up community cafe. The most delicious cakes made from scratch and seasonal soups too! I've been happily volunteering there for years - it's a joy to see the impact on locals. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Highly accommodating- usually a gluten free cake option too.

Absolutely fabulous little cafe run by volunteers set in the grounds of St Mary's Church. Sarah makes all the cakes and scones herself and they are all supremely delicious!!! Highly recommend the coffee cake and spiced scones ! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a sweet little pop-up cafe that happened to be operating when the church spire itself was open for ascension. It's clearly a volunteer-led endeavour and that's a big plus because everyone is very friendly and all of the food is home cooked. We decided to go for some cream teas, before our timed slot for the tower, and the scones were very tasty indeed. There was plenty of space to sit outside in the sunshine and our dog was very happy to say hello to all comers. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
