Excellent drag shows, strong drinks and a super friendly vibe. Wish Modesto had more chill laid back clubs like this but

We absolutely LOVE #SplashModesto! The bartenders and other employees are super friendly and fun. Whether you're on the rainbow, or an Ally; Splash is a great place to go to relax, unwind, and be free of judgement and drama! The shows are fantastic, too, and every weekend: there's a delicious food truck there. Our only critique would be that some of the bartenders don't know how to make some of the most basic and highly popular drinks. We've asked for drinks such as: "Margarita", "Bloody Mary", "Long Island Iced Tea", "Mai Tai", "Sex on the Beach", "AMF", and "Dark & Stormy" and gotten POLITE apologies, as a couple of them don't know how to make those. We replied politely that it was no big deal, and shared the recipes with them. They then make VERY DELICIOUS drinks. :-) If you like Tamarind, Mangonadas, or mildly spicy things in general: ask for a "Tamarindo Caliente". It is 2 shots of "Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind vodka" over a half cup of ice that has spicy salt on the rim, topped off with Squirt soda (or any citrus soda, if they are out of squirt, but they usually have it), and garnished with an olive and a lime!
