We attended this hotel NYE and were beyond disappointed . Firstly , after a friend looked at what they had to offer for the evening.... free drink & nibbles on arrival and free courtesy bus. We arrived there by bus and the driver was courteous . Nothing on offer except a band we've seen play there before. We watched several very drunk people and their antics and security did zero to make it a safe or pleasant evening . When it came time to go home .... we found out that there was no return trip for the bus ! They are happy to pick you up and take you there but that's it . No free drinks, no nibbles, a glow stick and a party popper oh and a $5 pub cash voucher not redeemable til after 11pm. Of course because it's out of the way ... no cab companies picking up, uber charging 4.2 times the rate of $27-$35 for a 4 km trip . We were actually stranded there for almost 2 hours. Thanks so much for the misinformation Springlake Hotel ! You made our night more than memorable
