We literally walked through the door and were treated incredibly poorly from the moment we tried to order. The bartender refused to serve my friend because her eyes were puffy. I explained that she had been crying. Fine, we understood and didn’t argue about that. I then asked if I could order a drink, since I was completely fine to be served. The bartender refused to serve me as well and wouldn’t give me any explanation. I asked to speak with a manager. I was told, “He won’t talk to you.” I went outside, and shortly afterward the police were there and my friend was being put in handcuffs. We were told she was being detained because she had “refused to give them her ID.” That is particularly disturbing because she had her ID and was saying so as she was being handcuffed. I have video documenting that interaction. Then, after refusing to speak with me inside, the owner/manager came outside once the police were involved and told me to “get in my car and get it off his property.” I explained that I had not driven there and didn’t even have a car there. So, after refusing to serve me, he was now telling me to get in a car and drive away, literally in front of the police. I understand that a business has the right to refuse service. What I don’t understand is treating customers this way from the moment they walk in, refusing to communicate, escalating the situation to police, and then making contradictory demands once the police were standing there. We walked in expecting to have a drink and instead left feeling humiliated and treated like criminals. The entire situation was unnecessarily hostile. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment. The manager and staff are awful. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Have been to this bar about 4 times. Every time I attend this bar it is a great time. The staff is professional and attentive to the customers. Went to another bar near the Stanchion and will never make that mistake again. The karaoke was fun, the customers were all fun to be around. I would recommend. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
