Very friendly, clean, inviting and large Starbucks in downtown Hilo, Hawaii. Appears to have once been a Wendy's based on size and design of building. Very spacious with plenty of seating all around. The staff welcomed each person entering and were very friendly when it came to refills. I have to say that it was pouring down rain on 2 different occasions during my visit, which is just part of the deal when it comes to being in Hilo. This location has a drive through, and plenty of outdoor parking, clean restroom and plenty of merchandise to choose from. Plenty of staff to help as well. It was a shame I had to leave this Starbucks as it was one of my favorites on the Hawaiian Islands. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Worst location I've ever gone to. I've been here twice and both times the bathroom was closed without explanation. The first time I was here I ordered falafel and was given chicken. The second time I was there I ordered oat milk and was given cows milk. In summation, the staff is rude and careless, and their bathroom is seems to be consistently "out of order". Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Honestly, I had a really frustrating experience. The service felt unprofessional, one barista actually walked away with my drink, and I ended up waiting around 30 minutes. I even saw my name on the cup, but rather than cause a scene, I chose to leave. Communication at the drive-through was also poor, and the overall attitude from some staff came across as dismissive and disrespectful. It was really disappointing, especially since good customer service makes such a big difference. I hope this is something that can be improved. Additionally, it’s mostly them teenagers ladies who tend to have these attitudes. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
