An Absolute Lifesaver at 4:40 AM! My wife and I were on the final leg of a grueling journey, driving straight from Asheville, NC to DCA airport. Visiting all the way from Washington State, we had been awake for more than 24 hours straight. Exhausted and desperate for a serious caffeine fix, we were incredibly grateful to find this Starbucks open so early in the morning. What we experienced inside was nothing short of extraordinary. At 4:40 AM May 27th 2026, most people are barely awake, but the morning girls working here greeted us with immense passion, a fantastic attitude, and genuine care. Their attention to detail was immaculate. They took the time to perfectly craft my wife’s vanilla coffee latte and my Earl Grey tea with a precise splash of coconut milk. Operating at that level of exceptional hospitality so early in the morning is rare. They completely turned our exhausting morning around and gave us the perfect boost to finish our travel day. These amazing women truly deserve a reward or recognition from management for their dedication and top-tier customer service. They are an absolute credit to the Starbucks brand. Thank you again, girls, for being so wonderful and making our morning great! We will absolutely stop by again the next time we are traveling through the area.
