Where to begin?! Booking The Rose (& Patricia!!) was the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning season! From the moment we toured The Rose, we knew we found a gem. Not only was the process of planning our wedding reception incredibly organized and streamlined but it was also truly thoughtful and fun! Patricia gave us such honest feedback, ideas, and tips as we navigated the countless decisions to make. I cannot emphasize enough how many compliments we received about how organized and beautiful our reception was - and that is all thanks to Patricia and her incredible staff! We are forever grateful for the wedding memories we have at The Rose!

We hosted our wedding welcome party at The Buffalo Rose and honestly, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our original venue cancelled on us unexpectedly, and finding The Rose on short notice ended up being the better choice all along. It's the kind of place we should have considered from the very beginning. Patricia was exceptional from the first conversation. She was responsive, thorough, and made sure we understood exactly what to expect at every step. Planning a wedding involves a lot of moving pieces, and having someone communicate the way Patricia does is genuinely rare. We never felt left in the dark or unsure of anything. We hosted about 75 guests in the Buffalo Dining Room and it was the perfect fit. Cozy and welcoming without ever feeling cramped. The staff set up our buffet beautifully, keeping the appetizer and cocktail hour spread in one section and the main dinner service in another, so guests could move freely and comfortably all evening. We went with wings and BBQ for a hearty, crowd-pleasing meal and it was a hit. Every single person told us the food was excellent, and we couldn't agree more. The location was ideal for our out-of-town guests and really set the tone for the whole wedding weekend. Every time I looked around the room, I saw happy, smiling faces. That's everything you hope for. One thing worth highlighting: The Rose requires an on-site contact to help the event run smoothly. We had our Maid of Honor step into that role, which meant that as the bride, I never had to worry about a single thing all night. That kind of structure is a gift and I didn't even know I needed it until it was happening. We are so grateful for The Rose and the team that made our welcome party feel so special. If you're looking for a venue that will genuinely take care of you and your guests, this is it!

We had our wedding at The Rose Event Center in September 2025 and the entire process was a DREAM! The venue is stunning and has so much character - exactly what we were looking for! This was our 4th venue we toured and I knew it was the one the moment we started to walk through. Both Patricia and Emily were incredible to work with. They were extremely prompt and organized in every email and conversation we had. What we loved the most is that this is an all-inclusive venue -- something that is not very typical with other venues. The transparency in the price and what it includes were 100% exact & there were no hidden fees. We loved working with their recommended vendor (elite entertainment) for our DJ and decor. That is the only outside vendor, besides our photographer & makeup/hair people. We chose to add extra time and have access to the venue earlier on our wedding day so that both parties could get ready at the venue and I highly recommend doing that! We both had breakfast at nearby restaurants and timed everything out so that the girls would arrive first to start getting ready. The bridal space upstairs is gorgeous and perfect for getting ready with your girls. We had our first look in the state room (bar upstairs) and it was the perfect intimate moment we wanted. We sent our wedding party & parents down to the park (2 blocks away) by the river and walked down there after our first look for family/bridal party photos - a true dream without having to coordinate transportation. I cannot recommend The Rose and their staff enough. The food was delicious and our guests enjoyed being able to explore up on the mezzanine level throughout the night. (*inside tip - you can go to the Buffalo Rose next door and do a wine tasting before making your wine selections!) Make sure you get the Churros for dessert! Our *only* regret is that we didn't have more dessert for out guests -- it ran out very quickly as we had more guests stay than expected and everyone wanted the churros (we did the dessert bar with 4 different varieties) Book your tour at The Rose Event center - you won't regret it!
