The Polo Club has been going over massive renovations to their main clubhouse, especially the pool area and now that they are finished, I’m wondering who is pocketing the money within the gates that allowed them to do this. It looked great before, it had charm and character. Now everything is just beige and white and cement colored and even the dark green and beige striped umbrellas feel sad like an old folks home. They put in some stupid looking shiny metal statue in the middle of the pool area, where they used to have a pretty gazebo. It has no personality, no Charm, it could be the lobby and pool area of a two star cheap Vegas hotel now. Very disturbing especially considering how expensive everything is here. Would not recommend. I would bet that the money that everyone is having to pay who lives within this neighborhood for all of these renovations are lining the pockets of someone who does not have the best interest of the club at heart.

The new Polo Club pool redesign is honestly shocking. They took a space that once had charm, warmth, and character and transformed it into something completely cold and devoid of style. It’s hard to understand how so much money could be spent only to end up with a result that feels this uninspired. For a project associated with Steven G, the outcome is especially disappointing. The previous space felt inviting and had personality. Now it feels sterile, harsh, and strangely unwelcoming — almost as if the goal was to discourage people from actually enjoying the public areas. A renovation should elevate a space, not strip away everything that made it appealing in the first place. Sad to see.

Everything is so perfectly manicured at the Polo Club of Boca Raton. I enjoyed the event and the hotel staff were exceptional.
