Stayed at Stiles in the band B for a couple of nights in Merlot room and had a lovely time. The room was a good size and well equipped. Complimentary wine and water as well as tea and coffee. The spa bath was wonderful after a long hike. Parking nearby at football club via a permit. Breakfast served in cafe downstairs and you could have anything you wanted. I opted for the Stiles full breakfast with a tumeric chai latte whilst my husband had an American breakfast with a flat white. Both really good. Would recommend

Lovely cafe with a great selection of all day breakfast items, paninis, pancakes and burgers. Generous portions and lots of veggie alternatives. Great selection of coffees and drinks as well. Friendly and fast service, it was nice and quiet when we went, think we just missed the lunch time rush. Really good food, will definitely be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

We always try to visit Stiles Coffee Bar whenever we’re in Ambleside, and it never disappoints. The food is delicious (the pancakes are our children's absolute favourite) and the full English is spot on. The staff are always really friendly too and make you feel welcome even when it’s busy, which it normally is! We were lucky enough to get a table on our latest visit during the Christmas lights switch-on day, and it was the perfect cosy stop. The hot chocolates were amazing, and you just can’t beat the warm, relaxed atmosphere in here. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Ambleside. Highly recommend popping in if you're visiting the town. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
