Absolute rubbish. A shame coz Gary & Irene were great. Feel sorry for young girls serving up that garbage Price per person: £10–20

Rip off chippy! £4 for a large - it was about 1 handful of chips...old chips too the last left in the fryer...the wee gal had a look at boss man like "these are old and burnt and there's hardly any here surely i can'tsell this" but bro gave it the nod with a grunt. Don't care about local people just want yr money. Get yourself to north street or literally anywhere else. Shame too I was excited when Jack's reopened but they're destroying the legacy of a proper family chippy these new guys. Avoid! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered a fish supper and single sausage. I watched the fish and sausage sit in the warmer area for thirty mins. In that time one member of staff handled the sausage without tongs or gloves four times. When it eventually did come time to wrap the meal I told the staff member I wasn’t interested in the sausage anymore as the food safety was appalling. I asked for my money back three times only to be met with blank faces. In the end I walked out without the fish supper or my money. If you think food hygiene is important I would think twice about Strathmore Fish Restaurant.
