Horrible customer service. At 6PM on June 16th, I ordered a toasted falafel 6 inch. The worker did not toast my bread properly, and this was clear as the cheese was not melted whatsoever and the bread was not crisp. After paying, I felt the outside of my sub and it was cold. I opened it up in store and the falafel was completely cold. I go up to the worker politely and tell her that the falafel was cold to see if she could heat it up again. She touches the cold falafel and instead of apologising, she says “I toasted in front of you” with an attitude. The falafel was literally cold it clearly was not toasted properly and needed to be heated back up. I understand customer service jobs can be stressful but I was the only customer in the store and it wasn’t busy. She did eventually heat it up but was not polite and had an attitude about it.

Ordered four subways and wasn’t satisfied with my order had a very unpleasant experience. The staff is unexperieced and the subway tastes trash very different then before, they put veggies and toppings in low quantities, it’s the worst sub ever, never come here again. I miss the old subway and the staff. Price per person: A$60–80 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I had the absolute displeasure of visiting Subway Braeside, and I can say with utmost certainty that it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The customer service was beyond terrible, and the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They didn't care about my preferences and didn't make my order the way I asked them to. As a vegetarian, I was appalled to see that the staff used the same gloves for handling meat and vegetables, which completely defeated the purpose of me ordering a veggie sub. When I asked them to use a fresh pair of gloves, the staff member talked back to me in a condescending and dismissive manner. To add insult to injury, the staff member also talked to me very rudely about the price, as if I was a nuisance for asking how much my meal would cost. The whole interaction left me feeling belittled and disrespected, and I can't believe that such blatant racism and discrimination still exist in this day and age. I would strongly advise against visiting Subway Braeside if you value basic human decency and respect. The staff are unprofessional, rude, and completely indifferent to the needs and preferences of their customers. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else where you will be treated with the respect and dignity that you deserve. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–20
