Sub that was supposed to be hot was cold. Cold meat juices in middle. I can't remember the last time I didn't eat a takeaway meal, I'm not that fussy but this was not good. Won't be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We popped into subways for the first time in maybe 4 years. We ordered a jacket spud with cheese and beans and a 6inch turkey cheese sub. So the lady serving just seemed want to talk in her native tongue with her colleagues which I totally understood what she was saying It was not rude but know your demographics!! I don’t agree with conversations talking about customers being masked in another language Anyhow It was a little busy The sub was just crap. There was an ok amount of turkey a cheese. Not a great around compared from when I last had a subways The salad options were fine but part of my sub issue was asked for sweet corn and the pot behind the counter was low which meant I got 9 pieces of sweetcorn and water Which made my sub soggy This was a flap subway meal if I’m honest Now the spud The lady got it ready and what a shock not enough beans so whatever was added after the spud was cold so we asked for it to be reheated After 8 mins of waiting and me finishing my sub I asked the lady where the spud was. She forgot about it and when I got it Man it was burnt and did not taste good Also the subway in Troon ran out of salt Yeah won’t go back here Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian options: If you want a veggie sandwich cheaper to make at home Dietary restrictions: Not sure

Hi Harj, Thanks for your review. I’m really sorry your visit wasn’t up to standard. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have. I’ve spoken to the team about this. They said they apologised at the time and offered to remake the food, which you didn’t want — but that doesn’t change the fact that it shouldn’t have been disappointing in the first place. The sweetcorn being low, the spud not being heated properly, and then being overdone after reheating isn’t good enough. Running out of salt also shouldn’t happen. On the language point — I understand how that can come across. I’ve reminded the team to stay mindful and professional on the shop floor at all times. Ordered a wrap from this shop and received a wrap bought out of a shop smaller than a 6 inch sandwich very disappointed with this offer and when contacted just eat was told nothing could be done £6 for a wrap that was about 4” beyond angry
