Great little find & fantastic staff with great selection of beers, wines & soft drinks. We didn't eat but the food looked amazing.... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

The 4 of us had a lovely lunch yesterday. Food choice, quality and portion size was excellent as was the wine and the lovely lady serving us. Highly recommended and we will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £20–30

My husband and I went to the Summit Inn (Littleborough) for a few drinks and a meal. It was a couple of years since we last visited. Straight away we noticed things have deteriorated, one young lady behind the bar and another serving meals although the pub was very busy. This is not a complaint about the staff as it was obvious they were run off their feet. We were warned of a 40 minute wait for meals which came and passed. When the meal arrived it was a disgrace. How the chef let this meal leave the kitchen is a bad indication of his/her ability. One of the meals contained a baked potato and the skin was rock hard, impossible to cut into. The cheese and onion pie had collapsed into an almost flat mess. The beans were okay. The second meal was chilli with chips and rice. It arrived at the table with a skin on top. It looked to me as if it had been stood for a long time and then microwaved and served. Chatting with other customers outside the pub it sounded like this was quite common. This used to be a good pub with good meals, not any more. We won't be visiting again under this management. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20

Hi DavThank you for the in-depth review and our sincere apologies on the quality of your experience. On the day in question yes we were very unexpectedly hit by a rush of people and tried to react to this as swiftly as we could, the staff did really well to push through the busy spell but we obviously had some issues and were unable to keep up on this occasion. We do really appreciate your review and though we have no expectation we do hope you will come back and give us another go in the future to better meet your expectations... with regards to customers you spoke to outside we are unable to comment, we have been getting quite a lot of good reviews and so we would not say that this is a common occurrence but I'm sure there were other customers that had a poor experience on this day and may have voiced that between themselves. We do our best to provide a good experience to all of our customers and we apologise for not meeting expectations on your visit.
