I had an amazing time at the drive-in movie theater. We had the opportunity to watch the classic Hook starring Robin Williams, which made the experience even more special. The food was great quality, and the whole atmosphere reminded me of old vintage movie theaters. It truly felt nostalgic and unique — such a fun and memorable night out.

I’d lived in blue ridge for 3 years before knowing the swan existed and I’m seriously upset I hadn’t known about it sooner. It’s genuinely an amazing place and I love being able to watch movies from the comfort of my car. It’s also amazing that they have a radio station so you can listen to any volume you want, and if your car battery flunks out they do free jumps! If you’re not okay with using your car or just don’t want to they have the cutest radios you can rent for just five bucks to listen to the movies. The food is great as well! My favorites are the pub steak burger and the 12” pretzel, I cannot go without getting them as a snack, and the popcorn is always delicious! The big buckets only 9$ which is cheap compared to what the movie theaters are charging nowadays!! It also lasts me through two movies and sometimes I even have some left over! Maybe I’m a slow eater haha. The staff are also super friendly, and work as fast as they can given the circumstances. They also sell movie merch which is AWESOME!! And if they’ve had it in stock for a while they discount items, so it’s always good to look out for those. If you’re in town, visiting or a local, and you’ve got a free night I’d seriously recommend going. If you’re not wanting to be around a big crowd Thursdays and Sundays are the best days to go, and if you get there early there’s still plenty to do, like bean bag toss next to the diner. You can also bring footballs or other activities to play in the grass in front of the screen or at the picnic tables! It’s a great vibe and honestly one of the best spots to hang in town. Definitely worth it.

I love this place! It was my first time at Swan and I wanted to take my daughter for the drive-in experience. We even got trash bags for our car. This business seems to have everything coveredright down to jump starts should your battery die. I rented the little radio since my battery is iffy. It was little and cute, but put out a lot of sound. When you get out of the car, there are speakers outside as well so you don’t miss a thing. The picture was crystal clear. Part of the fun was getting their food. We had burgers, chili cheese dogs, fries, and fried cookie dough. Plus, making decisions on floats was a tough choice! We had an orange soda float and an hot apple cider float (it was winter). So many choices! Best of all, was the friendly service. It was winter and there weren’t many cars. I’d strike up a conversation with the staff and it felt like old family friends. I will definitely be back!
