The place is located opposite Chayabithi masjid, central Bashabo. It opens only after magrib. Be aware! It is run by a single person who himself is the cook cum waiter. He will personally take your order. You need to place your order at the counter, sometimes you might have to ring the bell if there is no one there.(Busy at the kitchen) I ordered the shawarma chicken (medium size) and the chicken chap with 3 luchis. The Shwarma had ample amount of filling inside. It was served with a mustard white sauce on the side. Both the sauce and the shawarma were non-spicy. The amount I would say will be enough for a short snack. Anything more than this at that time might be an overkill for many. Yet as this was my first visit here I ordered the chicken chaap alongside it. The chaap came with a steak like appearance. It had a masala sauce poured over it. But it was not spicy. It was served with the same sauce as with the shawarma along with some onions and green chili. Although I love spice but I cannot tolerate it much. But I had no problem devouring this. Moreover I had to bite some of the green chili in order to balance the taste. How atypical of me! Overall the Food was properly cooked. It eas served fresh and warm. The owner (Cook and the waiter as well) was cordial and friendly. Now the verdict is Shawarma 8/10 Chicken chaap 7.5/10. Ps: Will you visit the place from afar? I would say no. It is appropriate for people who live near the vicinity. I would not recommend anyone to take this arduous journey amidst the jam of dhaka road to come here. Not worth it. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Let's get straight to the point, this restaurant is the textbook definition of "value for money." For me, this place is like finding a needle in a haystack except the needle is delicious and instead of stabbing you, it'll just bless your tastebuds. The chef literally studied food in Denmark, and honestly... his expertise speaks through the food they serve. I tried their Shawarma which seems pretty famous around the area. And yeah the hype is real. Then I had their Fried rice with Chilli Chicken and good lord, that fried rice is violently good. If they had added chicken and prawn into the rice and called it mixed fried rice, you'd honestly struggle to tell whether it's Tamam's food or something from one of the biggest Chinese restaurants out there. Their pricing is so customer friendly that even I'm wondering how they're making a profit. Anyways, if you only care about amazing food at a low price (basically if you're normal), this should be your go to spot. And seriously, please support this business. There is no alternative of Tamam in Dhaka. There food is excellent and the owner is very well mannered. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ৳200–400 Food: 5
