I was hoping that the food would be decent, but it was absolutely delicious! Curry chicken with cabbage and chapati was out of this world. Great blends of spices with just the right amount of heat; not too mild, not overwhelming. The coconut curry beans (vegan) with chapati were incredible. This was one of those deceptively simple items that benefited from a perfect blend of spices and herbs. I expected to like it, but I loved it! The person behind the counter, Fanaka, was able to answer all of our questions and provide great recommendations. If he hadn't suggested the passion fruit juice and the chilled African tea, we would have missed out on two amazing beverages that were perfect complements to the meal. At the end of our meal, Chef Jojo came over and talked to us. He was so warm and friendly. It was a truly incredible experience on a Saturday evening. Great catering! Great ownership! Great food! Great service! Will definitely be returning to Tamu for future catering needs or even just a family night out.
