Despite the beautiful setting. This was an overall disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived it felt like we were being rushed out of there. I don't think this was their intention, rather from a lack of understanding of what good service looks like. I'd get it if the place was super busy but we were two of the four people in there. There is a fine line between attentive and disruptive and our server was definitely on the wrong side of it. My plate was being cleared while there was still food on it. The food itself was bland and unremarkable, the octopus in the octopus tagliatelle was chewy and drowning in cream sauce, and the crab cakes tasteless. This is an achievement in Mexico because the standard of food is generally so high from fine dining to market stalls, you are surrounded by flavour. The highlight of our visit was a brief tour of the grounds by a very friendly staff member. Unfortunately not enough to make up for a very forgettable evening. Oh, and please fix the smoke detector. That constant chirping felt like a practical joke. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $900–1,000 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Had a lovely lunch with great service! Our waitress Vera Bucio was very attentive and kind. We had the rib eye and two fish dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Overall it was a very lovely lunch.
