My son and I had a very pleasant time at Tabula Rasa, a truly plant-based restaurant in Colmar which proves that vegan (still a bad word in the heads and mouths of some) can rhyme with taste and greatness. quality of food. Few à la carte options, which in general is a sign of mastery of the dishes, and we arrived the day after an evening where the restaurant had been 'robbed', because it was a victim of its success, so the suggestion of the day was missing. Charming welcome, but very long wait, that's the only downside: 45 minutes before being served. I generally don't eat dishes in restaurants that I can make myself, but I made an exception here with a rice/quinoa buddha bowl with numerous addenda (yeah, I'm going to be like 'I don't want to use a English word like 'topping') very delicate, varied and delicious (small salad of white cabbage with herbs, edamame, marinated blood carrot ribbons, red beets, and so on) and I really had enough to be satisfied. My son opted for the entirely homemade burger, bun included, with a kind of delicious homemade béarnaise, very generous and accompanied by 2 ramekins: one of oven-baked new potatoes with paprika and the other of a variation of coleslaw with black sesame which he really liked. He has a good fork and was afraid he would come out hungry, but no. We even hesitated before having a dessert and it was out of pure greed that we ordered one. We shared a strawberry and speculoos tiramisu, creamy as it should be and not too sweet. It’s a great discovery, really, and I will definitely come back to it. The wait will perhaps be shorter that day and I will give the 5 stars everywhere that this little gem then deserves - including for people who are in a bit of a hurry and only have a limited time between noon and 2 o'clock. The best Vegan meal I've ever had. Whether it's the incredible burger with fried onions and a sauce to die for, or the bouda bowl which is incredibly fresh. A must-see address! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
