I love Tacodeli! Their food is delicious, but it isn't always served hot. We have had a few instances where it came out cold and had to be remade. They usually give us a few free taco coupons when that happens. I prefer to go on Wednesday so I can get a Brisket El Rey taco (taco of the day) with my regular Cowboy taco. Their Roberto's queso is delicious and they offer Maine Root fountain soda (Doppleganger is my jam). As someone with Celiac, this is one of the only taco joints that is safer for me to enjoy. Their chips are prepackaged so I don't have to worry about cross contamination. And all of their desserts come prepackaged so I don't have to worry about those either. The only things on their menu made with gluten that are on the assembly line are their wheat and flour tortillas. Taco deli is one of the few places I frequent and luckily I have never gotten sick from it. I would have give them 5 stars if their was more consistent served warm. They seem to have conflict between kitchen staff and front end workers on occasion and that makes for bad service. Which is such a shame, because it really is delicious. Go on Wednesday! And if you get cold food, tell them, so they can remake it. It's worth it to have hot food, because it really is tasty. Plus, you're paying for a hot meal!

This place is so good. Great food and fair prices. The salsas are delicious (I agree, put Doña on everything!). I don’t know anywhere else I can stop in to get a pollo y mole taco?? That was already enough to keep me coming back. But I’ve tried many different kinds of tacos and I like them all. But also the other stuff they sell is good. Like margaritas. Or margarita cookies. Or aguas frescas. Definitely stop in and try it!! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The tacos are so good and have great flavor but they’re much better if you buy them to go and reheat them at home. It’s never a good experience dining in because the tacos are always cold and the tortilla is severely undercooked. For the high price point and at the speed they bring them out, I’d except the tacos to be hot and the tortilla fully warmed. I thought it was a one time thing but no, they are like this everytime I dine in. I asked them once to reheat them but all they did was put them in a warm plate rather than toast them on a pan or simply reheat them we were left waiting for well over 7 minutes just to walk over and see them sitting to warm. Great place and great tacos but poor execution.. much better for take out than dine in. I simply hope they can start cooking the tacos thoroughly and serving them hot like they used to.
