This Tuesday morning, my son (shown in picture above) and I were hungry, so we took our rumbling tummies to Tahdig Kitchin, and boy, was I surprised! The line wrapped around the block with fellow famished folks. We had to wait an hour. My son told me that the image we saw on Google Maps was ai-generated but he was proven foolishly wrong when we went inside. The atmosphere was gorjus, so many elaborate decorations and gold, just like the real picture. Overall, my son and I rate Tahdig Kitchin a bountiful 5 out of 5 stars. I agree with them. When our server came to get our orders, she gave both of us the adult menus. I told her that whilst my son looks very distinguished for his age he is but a mere four years old and he NEEDS his kid's menu and complimentary crayons. She seemed taken aback after hearing my son's youthful age but REFUSED to give a kid's menu. I insisted that my son needs his kid's menu because the adult portion sizes are too big for his petite frame. My delicate son cannot eat large portions due to his fawn-like fragility. In handing him the adult menu, she is trying to KILL HIM. As Ghandi once said, "Sons may turn into men, and grow out of their toys, but in the hearts of their mothers, they are still little boys." I will not tolerate this injustice against my precious baby angel son! How dare she! My son and I left IMMEDIATELY after that offense. Nonetheless, the food was delectable. I wish I knew how it tasted. We would come again only if they fire that entitled server. xoxo Meal type: Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: I don't like their abundance of vegitarian options. It will fuel the ego of the already growing populations of the vegetarins. We cannot let this happen. Dietary restrictions: My delicate son cannot eat over 25 calories without combusting. His frail frame needs only the most delicate of morsels to give him energy. I typically nourish him with a drop of mango nectar fed to him through a medical grade pipette and possibly half a mint leaf if he hungers greatly.
