Taiwan Bento is a new take-out restaurant located in Function. Walking into the little shop i was greeted by two of the friendliest workers behind the counter, one of whom is the owner. It was a great environment to hang out in while i waited for my food. I had the popcorn chicken bento and a pork bun. The popcorn chicken was spectacularly seasoned and delicious. The pork bun was honestly of the best small bites i’ve had in whistler and i would buy these by the dozen if a deal was offered. I recommend calling ahead if you plan to order a pork or vegetable bun as they do take some time to steam. I sampled the house-made fruit tea made with passion fruit, apple, and few others and it was soooo good. Definitely will be going back for that on a hot day. Definitely will be returning.
