Is it like a branch of Takeuchi in Katsutadai? I was shown to a seat in the back in front of the kitchen, but I could imagine it was uncomfortable because the staff bumped into each other every time they served the food. I didn't really want to take a seat, so I guess I would have liked to be moved to another seat. There are many alcoholic beverages including beer, chuhai, and sake. The shochu menu is lined up on the back, and there is quite a wide selection. The main snacks are stewed offal, sashimi, and skewers. Seafood items are also quite abundant. The stew is served in a small earthenware pot, and is seasoned with salted plums that have the flavor of the offal and the fluffy flavor of the miso. You can order the skewers starting from just one, and the sweet and slightly rich sauce coats them well, giving them a meaty flavor. I ordered the omakase sashimori while having a chilled plum. On this day, the raw octopus and red sea bream were delicious with exquisite texture! The combination of shochu and yuzu pepper goes well with seared chicken. The prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive, so it's understandable that it's popular even in a location a little far from the downtown area. However, it's a shame that the whole place lacks ambition and needs a little more consideration in terms of customer service.
