Food was nice but there are issues that could be easily sorted: 1. A small piece of bread with the tortilla would be nice and cost virtually nothing 2. I was told I could not have a "small" glass of wine, only "medium" 175ml or "large" 250ml, which are also the only options listed on the menu. Not only is that unreasonable, it is a breach of mandatory licensing requirements. 3. Being told "we need the table back in 5-10mins" after sitting eating and drinking for an hour about a minute after putting you spoon down with drinks still to finish is not appreciated. 4. Subsequently adding a 10% service charge to the bill seems to be becoming the norm in the UK, but feels more USA than Spain, especially after sitting at bar stools for light bites rather than a than at a table for a full meal. I don't think I'll be going back. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Do not go here. Absolutely terrible food. Go to Bar San Juan, the most delicious tapas restaurant in Manchester. How on earth there are 3 5-star reviews for this place is a suspicious mystery to me. A tapas bar serving value to customers in that area of town would have more than that to back it up. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel compelled to because what this place is doing is wrong. My friend and I ordered around £60 worth of tapas, including two glasses of sangria. Not one dish was better than tasteless. The food served is very obviously cheap and low quality. The chicken dish was nothing more than unpalatable, making me feel sick. I have no idea what the sangria was really made of but a good guess would be cordial with a bit of wine and chopped fruit pieces - nothing like what is usual. To charge so much for such poor food is really theft. I'm not surprised that the waiter who brought the bill saw unfinished food and didn't comment or ask us how the food was. Really, we feel robbed. It is just not possible that they are unaware of how poor the food is. Yet they continue charging customers for it. It's really appalling. To continue taking money in return for such poor food is no way to be successful. It shouldn't be allowed. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
