Waitresses not very professional. When I ask what type of "vinho verde" they have and I am told I don't know, it's borderline. Regarding the "Francesinha" nothing exceptional. It is served with very little sauce even if they give you a little extra. In terms of atmosphere, it was very noisy. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Disappointing experience at Tappas Caffé Madalena I went to the Tappas Caffé Madalena restaurant on September 15th with a group of 20 people. We made the reservation in advance, expressly informing that the group was large (20 people). However, when we arrived at the restaurant, the reserved table was only for 10 people. This caused our dinner to be delayed by 2 hours as we had to wait for a group next to us to finish eating before we could join tables together. The food was reasonable. The francesinha, the house specialty, was well made, but the sauce didn't have much flavor. The fries were good and the sangria was excellent. The service was the negative point of the experience. The employees seemed to be overworked and were losing patience with customers. On one occasion, I saw an employee argue with a customer over an order. Conclusion: Tappas Caffé Madalena has the potential to be a good restaurant, but needs to improve the service. The booking error was serious, which caused an uncomfortable delay for customers. Rude service from employees is also a problem that needs to be resolved. Suggestions: The restaurant must improve reservation control to avoid errors.
