Not good. I ordered a carne asada burrito - $12 no beverage. The meat had a weird, dirty-pan-broiled-meat taste instead of asada meat. And, you are supposed to drain the blood from the meat when cooking as it floats to the surface of the cooking pan. Do not let it be absorbed back into the meat. And please marinate the carne asada meat! This meat was not at all marinated and the only flavor it had was of the reabsorbed blood. The smell was bad and the meat was bad. I will not return for sure. The chili was nasty and looked wawada really bad. Wawada means that the salsa has encountered fingers tips or any other human skin-part and/or it has been recycled. I lived in Mexico for quite a while and never encountered food this bad. The restaurant is dirty and needs a really good cleaning of the dining area walls, the table and the chairs. I would have been better off with a cup-o-noodles. Seriously. I wonder why this place gets a four star rating?? Probably because the customer is not used to good authentic Mexican food. I would not eat here again if it was free for the rest of the year and they were giving away free Peet's coffee $20 gift cards.

Was in town for work and decided to get some tacos. Taqueria Zarape was the closest to my hotel, so I came here. And I gotta say I was completely disappointed in these tacos, the size of the tacos is great, but the meat is completely dry and hard. On the other hand, the rice and beans were great and of course the horchata. I wouldn't not come here again but it wouldn't be my first choice. Definitely need to just up there game on the meat.
