Do not eat at this restaurant. I order three dishes on Sunday April 28, 2024 around 8pm and myself and my pregnant girlfriend have been throwing up for two days straight and it’s the only food we ate. I called the restaurant suggesting it may have been one bad dish and requested a refund and the owner rudely refused. I’ve had food from many Hakka restaurants around the city and this one by far is the worst food quality. Do not order food from here. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Look I hate to do this but I ordered take out from here last night and it was VERY bad. I ate here maybe two years ago and it was pretty good so I recommended it to my family last night when we were deciding on some Chinese. Unfortunately we were EXTREMELY disappointed with the quality, or lack thereof. Firstly, the food was actually cold, which was surprising considering we arrived to pick it up before it was ready. The noodles were overcooked and the vegetables were somehow cold also. The spring rolls tasted like they had been frozen or something, honestly just poor quality. The general tso chicken was passable, but I also bit into a piece that had a little bone in it and could have easily chipped my tooth.. as someone who orders this dish from every Chinese restaurant I’d put it towards the bottom of the totem pole. Overall just a bad experience in terms of the quality of the food and I’m confident you can easily find somewhere better in the near vicinity. Also I will add that this meal was not cheap ($60+ for 3 people, no drinks). I’ll give them a 5 on service because I feel bad. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I called in to make a takeout order for the first time. The guy who answered wasn't very nice. Very rushy rushy on the phone when i asked two questions. I understand being a busy restaurant but if a customer is calling for first time should have some courtesy. Anyway i was going to order more stuff but since he didn't take time to answer me i only ordered a fried rice with Chicken and Shrimp. I wish i didn't even order. The rice tasted stale like two days old and found three pieces of chicken and three shrimp in the whole thing, honestly i could have cooked a better fried rice. I took few bites and couldn't anymore. I was very unhappy. I looked at the reviews wasn't bad so i thought worth a try. Besides the rice tasting old i find them very pricey. Everything is $2 plus more if you wanted an extra anything. A combination of two items will cost you $15 only enough for one person. The only good thing i can say is that it was quick and the inside of restaurant was well lit and pretty with Christmas lights. Ive eaten at many hakka restaurants for years. I wont be returning here. I rather travel to somewhere worth eating, fresh and im happy with. Sorry taste of hakka.
