I tried Tato’s for the first time today and I’m very impressed! I loved the multicultural theme it had. It’s definitely fitting especially being in the DMV area. There were a lot of options to choose from, but I was craving fried fish so I ended up going with the UK meal which came with two generous servings of fried cod and some potato wedges. The cod was amazing! Very fluffy, buttery, not too greasy with a nice crispy batter. It paired very well with the tartar sauce. I especially enjoyed the wedges. They had a pillowy inside and a gorgeous golden brown color. It almost reminded me of Five Guys’ fries but thicker. I paid $16 for the meal plus a drink, which is a great deal for the portion and quality of the food I was given. Whenever I’m in Silver Spring again I will be returning for more! This is my new favorite spot in the Montgomery Mall food court. I stopped by tonight for the first time but I'm already plotting my return. I had the Mexican style baked potato and everything was very fresh and delicious. I like that the salsa had a little heat to it, since potatos can be very bland. The service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
