Wow, what a place. Proof that the best restaurants are family owned and operated. I met the chef and his wife as they were diligent in checking on our table that the food and service was exceeding our expectations. Thanks to our server Kristen, everything was perfect. We have revisited multiple times and each meal was better than the last. Don’t miss this gem, with great food, service, and ambiance. 5 stars!!! They even opened a world class sandwich shop and bakery right next door. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to! Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. The chef is so kind and you can tell he genuinely cares deeply about what he does. It’s so sweet that the place is inspired after his grandmother. You can even eat dinner at her dinning table. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Must try! They say the secret to good food is love, and it's very clear that Chef Michael of Tavolena truly loves what he does. His passion is evident the moment you walk through the door into the small-but-mighty ambiance that is Tavolena. The food tastes authentic (and delicious), and portions are generous. You won't leave hungry! The service is exceptional with attentive and highly knowledgeable servers. Chef Michael's talent doesn't stop in the restaurant - he makes all of his own baked goods which can be purchased during the daytime in the Tavolena Bakery & Sandwich shop next door adjoining the restaurant. The icing on the proverbial cake is that Chef makes a point of visiting with his guests to ensure they're fully satisfied and enjoying their experience. He even took us on a tour of the restaurant and bakery next door, sending us home with some treats from the bakery. This is one of the most intimate, enjoyable dining experiences I've had in the area. I highly recommend Tavolena Ristorante. Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
