This place hands down has THE BEST matcha desserts to offer in LA. I tried both the matcha soft serve and matcha oat latte and was blown away by the unique and smooth flavor it had! According to my friend who visits Japan frequently, this is probably the only matcha spot in LA that is on par with the quality in Japan. The line on the weekend was long, but it moved very quickly and our orders came out fast. The soft serve had the perfect amount of matcha, cream, and level of sweetness. There was something unique about it that distinguishes it from other matcha soft serves. I forgot to take a picture of my soft serve, but the serving size was also very generous. The oat latte had a sweet nutty taste that paired with the matcha well. Workers here are very friendly and explained the menu well too!

Not too sweet... can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've been to Tokyo before... i know my matcha ice cream... trust me!!!! This one stack up to the best of them All the geeks go to the other Matcha soft serve places in little Tokyo (M**ori, Som*S*mi, Hon*ymee) True players get their matcha fix from tea master

Whether you need an afternoon refresher or an after meal dessert, Tea Master is the place to get your matcha fix in Little Tokyo. In a nearly invisible spot facing directly opposite from Sushi Gen, is Tea Master Matcha Cafe and Green Tea Shop. It can get busy here but know that they make make their matcha drinks after you order, not before. You can see them mixing the matcha powder and warm water behind the counter. Matcha Soft Serve - Their soft serve has medium matcha strength and is very smooth and creamy. If you want a super strong matcha flavor, this soft serve isn't that, but if you love creamier flavored soft serve, this is going to rock your boat. Iced Match Green Tea - Their green tea here is good and they are freshly whipping the match powder and water together in small porcelain cups. It's fresh and made to order. You can have it lightly sweetened or unsweetened. I asked for the sweetened version. I like match drinks strong and sweet. Next time I will ask them to make it a little sweeter. The matcha drink is good, but I would love it even more if the matcha was more concentrated, rich and dense. Would I get it again? Definitely. They do a good job with it. But do I prefer it a little stronger? Yes, I do. They also have Houjicha items (roasted green tea) on the menu and they sell matcha powder and other tea making items in store if you want to do it yourself at home. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have limited seating outside (two small tables). No excuses, you know where to go for matcha in Little Tokyo!
