An absolute assault on the senses but the food is delicious. We started the evening loving the energy. The atmosphere was lively, the DJ was great, and we found ourselves seat-dancing while sharing the Kashke Bademjan and olives. The food was outstanding from the start. Then our entrées arrived..huge portions and good flavours. Unfortunately, by that point the music had reached a volume that completely overwhelmed the experience. We couldn’t have a conversation with our friends without shouting, and eventually we found ourselves eating quickly just to escape the noise. We didn’t even stay for tea!! On the drive home, it felt like I was sitting in a fishbowl, and the next day my ears are still buzzing. The food is genuinely excellent, the atmosphere is vibrant, and I can see why people love it. But for us, the volume crossed the line from energetic to exhausting. Loved it and hated it at the same time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$60–70 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We had a wonderful experience at Tehranto Restaurant. The Kashke Bademjan was excellent rich, creamy, and full of flavour. My husband had the Vaziri Kebab (chicken breast and ground beef), and I had the Ghajari Kebab (veal tenderloin and chicken leg). The food was very flavourful, the chicken was juicy, and the veal was tender, although it could have used a little more seasoning. We also tried the Dubai Cake. While the kataifi was not as crunchy as I usually prefer, it was still very delicious overall. A special thank you to our server, Zahra, who was excellent very polite, attentive, and efficient despite serving several large parties at the same time. Her service really made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. There was a lack of attention throughout our visit. At times, we had to look for a server to address the issues at our table. I hope you’ll be more careful when choosing your team members, as good service means more than just taking orders.
Our server, a young man of average height, simply took our orders and mentioned that soup was complimentary, but never brought it. He didn’t check on us or ask if we needed anything else, and seemed disconnected from the experience. I’m truly sorry that my friends were unhappy with the level of service this time. While we’ve always enjoyed your atmosphere and food, my friends have decided not to return because of this experience.
