This Israeli restaurant in Kyoto is an absolute gem! The owner loves to chat and share his stories, and the dishes are beautiful, generous, and just perfect!

Delightful experience. I will get the easy part out first. The food is delicious. Probably as good as any in the genre anywhere else. But what makes the place extraordinary is the host, Moshe, and the atmosphere he has created. Cozy, warm, quirky, intimate and friendly - it’s very Kyoto yet authentic to its cultural roots. We had the company of an interesting couple from Australia and the conversation was so enjoyable - complex and humane at the same time. It was a cultural medley at its finest. If you are visiting Kyoto (or a resident for that matter) and in a mood for non-Japanese cuisine or like middle eastern cuisine, please try this. You will not be disappointed. But if you are a hopeless romantic who is a sucker for experiences and lucky to get some interesting company, you will totally love it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000

We had a fabulous dinner today at Telaviv. Had ordered Hummus, Pita and Falafel Food was delicious and authentic. Would recommend this restaurant if you are in Kyoto looking for Veg food closer to Indian taste Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available
