Top-notch atmosphere, but the pricing leaves much to be desired. This restaurant delivers an elegant and inviting dining experience. From the thoughtfully presented dishes to the refined ambiance, everything feels carefully curated, making it an excellent choice for a date night, special occasion, or even a relaxed evening out. The food was generally enjoyable, with a few standout dishes. The salad pizza and the sweet-and-sour chicken with vegetables were particularly impressive, offering excellent flavor and great presentation. However, not every item justified its cost. The biggest drawback is the pricing. Nearly everything on the menu feels significantly overpriced, especially the steak. Paying around ¥4,000 for a portion that amounted to only a few bites was difficult to justify, particularly when I've had far better steaks elsewhere for less. To make matters worse, the restaurant charges a substantial table fee—the highest I've encountered—which wasn't disclosed until after we were already seated. Overall, the atmosphere and several of the dishes make this a pleasant place to visit, but the excessive pricing and lack of transparency regarding fees make it difficult to recommend without reservation. If management were to reassess its pricing structure and be more upfront about additional charges, this could easily become a go-to spot for a variety of occasions. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000

Great steak, exceptionally kind staff. But beyond the steak, the menu is just a bit weird. Not sure what sort of taste they’re catering to but offering something more akin to the traditional Japanese teppan offerings might be nice. That being said, other such places do exist in Iwakuni, and perhaps the truffle-heavy offerings at Rush just aren’t for me. Still worth a visit. Very skeptical of the dish cooked in a plastic bag on the teppan however. No way that is healthy for anyone. Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
