The staff are always so kind and helpful, the atmosphere is calm and well-kept, the food is always lovely in my experience (I’ve tried lots of their menu options) and I love the recent makeover and how easy it is to order at the self service machines. Coffee is great and they do not charge extra for substituting oat milk which I appreciate! My favourite place to come for breakfast when I need to do the weekly grocery shopping Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was served by a polite sweet young girl named Natalie. She was very helpful and made me feel welcome. The food was lovely and the price was brilliant! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I was informed by a staff member Brittany at Tesco Cafe that, despite my egg allergy, I would still be charged for the egg component of my meal, and no substitutions of equivalent value could be made. This policy was also in effect during my previous visit following the refit, which I did not query at the time as is all self-service systems. Upon raising the issue on this occasion, I was surprised to learn that the establishment considers a meal consisting of one slice of bread, two economy sausages, two rashers of bacon, and two hash browns to be a justifiable value at £9.50. We will not be returning to this establishment. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
