Stopped in for dinner on our way home to Montana, and immediately greeted by friendly staff. Super cool decor inside. Food was fresh and perfect amount of spice. Definitely coming back next time we come through Coeur D’Alene Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Drunken Noodles

PROS / CONS: 8/24/2020: Credibility: Experience with Thai Bamboo on NUMEROUS occasions Since 2013. I am a professional networker with extensive Thai Restaurant review experience Food tastes like a "1" on 1-5 scale Pro's: +Authentic Asians working at the restaurant +Tastes better than competitor restaurant +Amazing Desserts +Friendly server Con's: -RUDE, BITCHY, DISCRIMINATING Manager. The Manager is an absolute *B - She is ALWAYSSSSSS (Literally, based off of DOZENS of experiences) RUDE, COLD, & DISCRIMINATION (I hope you are NOT GLBTQ or of ANY 'color' other than WHITE / Caucasian like Her Staff!) My Straight Female Partner and I have been discriminated against COUNTLESS times (I am intersexed and not even GAY, but this manager makes the IGNORANT ASSUMPTION) -ENTIRE STAFF INAUTHENTIC - All Americans working at this restaurant -- No Asians working for the restaurant like their competitors. -Food is too salty -Ingredients (esp. the Pad Thai) is DISGUSTING *AND* 1/2 the portion as as Bangkok Thai (in Spokane Valley, WA - My Absolute FAVORITE Thai Restaurant in the entire region) -Thai Tea used to be a reasonable $3 price, and now they charge $5+ -FAKE / INAUTHENTIC PLANTS & DECOR Today I requested to use some brand new & FACTORY SEALED HEALTHY: *SEE ATTACHED PICTURES: -0 Calorie -Choloestrol-Free -Gluten-free -Vegan -2-minutes prep & cook time total "Shirataki" (AKA 'Miracle' - Due to their AMAZING Health Benefits - Google "Miracle Noodle's website) Noodles for me, & stated that I'd be willing to still pay the FULL price of what they'd normally charge if they were to use their own (which takes 3x the amt of time & prep BTW) noodles. They refused - I wasn't heard, and/or listened to. My thoughts, feelings, and ideas were not Respected and just automatically dismissed The 2-minute package takes less preparation time and less cooking time than your standard rice noodles! People are lazy and just want to stick with what they've always known instead of thinking about how a new decision may benefit all involved/parties. They didn't even take the time to hear me - - this stubborn resistance is not healthy from a personal or professional business standpoint. I offered to pay the FULL amount even though it would have cost me nearly twice as much money just said that I could eat healthy I am angry because I wasn't listen to and my feelings, thoughts, and ideas were automatically dismissed The fact that I was willing to pay out-of-pocket for these noodles and also pay the full price that the dish would normally cost even without the main entrée and it being so bear says that I care a lot about health and wellness Eat for Health and Wellness, and not JUST 'pleasure' -- you can have all three with my solution! And EVERYONE BENEFITS I ended up driving 33 minutes to Spokane Washington to my other preferred restaurant, Bangkok Thai, on Argonne Road, in order to eat Healthy -- They didn't hesitate to cook and stir up the 2-minute healthy choice noodles. ****Desired outcome: I am advocating for Thai Bamboo Restaurant to show the Courtesy, Respect, and Consideration of considering my thoughts, feelings, and ideas and to at least begin to provide the ***option**** of using these healthy noodles, or at the very least, allowing the customer to provide the noodles themselves even if Having to Pay the full price/same amount versus their standard GMO (genetically modified and cancer-causing) extremely high calorie rice noodle (1000-1000 calories per Pad Thai dish) ACTION: I will remove this review when my thoughts feelings and ideas are considered and taken seriously (put into Action)
