We had the pleasure of dining at The Beacon for the soft opening with a reduced menu. The talented Chef Sam did not disappoint, transforming our meal into an unforgettable experience. Every dish that was created for us, reflected not only skill, but passion and creativity. The flavours were beautifully balanced. We were a group of four and shared each others orders and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I am now hooked on warm olives. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you for taking the time to share such kind words. Soft openings are always a special chapter, and hearing that Chef Sam’s dishes made your night unforgettable means so much to us. The Beacon offered great food, excellent service and a cozy environment. We had a "grands frites" appetizer that was one of the best we ever tasted with shrimp, squid and mussels. The main entrees of chicken schnitzel and souvlaki were savoury and juicy. The dessert of apple strudel baklava was just the right amount. All in all a great place to eat time and time again. We just had the best experience at The Beacon. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays, and the food was amazing! I’m always trepidatious about trying a new restaurant, but this one did not disappoint. Darryl, our waiter was very attentive and funny and his service was impeccable. We started with an excellent Caesar salad, two of us had the chicken souvlaki dinner, my husband had the rigatoni and my mother in law had the chicken schnitzel dinner. The quantities were huge! At the end of the meal, they surprised us with a special dessert to share, for our birthdays. I really hope this restaurant does well, as the food is to die for. We were so anxious to try the food, that I forgot to take pictures before, but here is a picture of the chicken schnitzel dinner, and she had already eaten a good portion of it.
