Very busy spot so definitely anticipate wait times during peak hours like dinner. Waited a good hour to be seated here but they do have a text message waitlist so you can roam around if you're waiting in line. Highly recommend the stonepot rice. 4.5/5 - flavourful, crispy rice that sticks to pot while the fluffy well cooked in centre - less rice than normal, so that wasn't as loved by the fam - fragrant protein and veg, I got the spare ribs and preserved meat, cooked well, seasoned well Chicken Pork Stomach Hot Pot soup - fragrant, umami - pork stomach didn't have the rancid/ boar taint meat flavours, quite clean - good amount of black pepper - con is not a lot of stuff in it other than the chicken and stomach, can use more of other veg or produce as we do see at other restaurants Other ingredients were quite good, standard though and basic but good enough with the meal
Pretty comfortable place for Chinese authentic food. Not expensive dishes but cosy family restaurant. They mainly serve pork belly chicken hot pot and hotpot rice " casserole rice" food are tasty. Even very busy restaurant but kind service. Recommended but better do reservations during lunch or dinner time.
Nice chicken casserole place with a very flavorful big pot of white pepper hog maw soup. Way big enough for 4 adults to have a nice meal. Did not have enough room to try their claypot rice - Bo Chai Fan (BCF). Seems to have good selections on their menu. Will definitely try one next time. 5% off cash discount. Long line up every day regardless of weekends or not. And I do mean long. Only accommodate reservations for 4 ppl+. Go early to avoid long lineups. Recommended.
