The waitress the staff were very good. The place was clean. The only problem was don't try to go there and order Buffalo wings because they're one of these places that take the Buffalo sauce, alter it into adding salad, dressing some kind of stuff and then call it their own mix whatever. But don't bother to tell you that on the menu. So when you spend $17 on some buffalo wings and they come out and they're nothing like Buffalo wings, they're awful. And I mean they have other seasons that are just fine. I'm just talking about the Buffalo you know so I mean it was a complete misrepresentation of Buffalo wings. They weren't Buffalo. They throw a little buffalo styles on top of something that's totally else. Totally is different and you and you sit there and look at them like there's multiple different sauces involved in this. The Boondocks in Anderson is where locals, famous politicians, and anyone who knows good food come to eat! I absolutely love the owner Gus and his entire staff — they make you feel like family every time. The food is to die for — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. This place is so good that Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives needs to come check it out ASAP! Outstanding service and a welcoming vibe. If you’re in Anderson, this is a must-stop.
