We ran across Roxy's by accident and so glad we did!! Escargot and Lobster bites from the appetizer menu was first and they absolutley met our expectations. The two salads that we shared were the beet salad and the garden salad. Both wonderful and fresh! Lastly we tried the chefs soup- mushroom and french onion. They were good! For drinks the Market Margarita(very good) and Linda's purple rain(so so). Our waitress made the whole meal exceptional! Super attentive, professional and friendly. Definitely recommend! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There are certain dinners that simply check the boxes, and then there are evenings at Roxy that remind you why classic steakhouse dining still matters. This was one of those nights. From the moment you walk in, Roxy delivers an atmosphere that feels timeless without trying too hard. Dim lighting, polished wood, and that understated elegance that makes you immediately relax into the experience. It feels refined but never pretentious. The energy is confident and calm. The bottle of wine was truly the anchor of the evening. It opened with deep, layered dark fruit notes blackberry and black cherry right up front with just enough plum to round it out. What made it special was the balance. The fruit never overwhelmed the structure. There was a subtle backbone of tannin and acidity that kept everything lifted and clean. Each sip carried depth without heaviness. It paired effortlessly with the steak, enhancing rather than competing. That kind of balance is not accidental. It is curated. And then the ribeye. Anyone who frequents Roxy knows the ribeye is not always available, which makes it feel like a small victory when it is on the menu. I have hoped for it more than once and struck out, so this night felt lucky. Cooked perfectly, with a beautiful sear that locked in the juices, the marbling rendered just right. Tender, rich, and deeply flavorful without being greasy. Every bite had that classic steakhouse intensity balanced by precision. This is what a ribeye should be. The service matched the food in every way. Excellent is almost an understatement. The pacing was perfect. Plates cleared seamlessly. Wine poured at just the right moment. Small dialogue, genuine engagement, but never intrusive. The entire staff operated like a team that takes pride in the room and the guest experience. And then there was the detail I love every time: the server walking the dining room with a basket of warm bread, almost like a modern little Red Riding Hood making her rounds. It is charming. It is thoughtful. It adds personality to what could otherwise be a standard fine dining ritual. Those touches matter. They elevate the evening from transactional to memorable. Roxy continues to deliver what a great steakhouse should deliver consistency, quality, and hospitality that feels intentional. When the ribeye is available and the wine is this balanced, the night becomes something special. For Reno, this remains one of those places that sets the bar. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The vibe is cheesy, didn't get a chance to try the food because the bartender kept saying racist things about Mexican people and when my husband tried to let him know he went on about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech means I can tell y'all don't tip this bartender. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
