Thank you guys that really hit the spot. (Mark from the hospital). Very reasonable prices. Great portion size. Fish chips mushy peas £9.80 ! I'd pay another 2 or 3 quid for the same by my end. I'll be back ! Food, 5. Those fish, cooked to order. Red hot, flaky fish in a golden crispy batter, scraps, salt & vinegar. B E A U T I F U L ! Service, service with a smile. I love local business and try and support them over multi national giants. As an ex- retail manager with over 30 years experience, I can categorically say, customer service is absolutely pinnacle to trade retention. Serve with a smile, I've thrown you a few extra chips on there (wink), thank you ma darling, means I'll be back. 5 Atmosphere, it's not a nightclub so let's change that to hygiene. Spotless. Absolutely Spotless. Beautiful decor, very clean (trust me I know what clean looks like), and awesome friendly staff. 5. You can tell a place runs off passion thru the staff. Their approach to serving is different to people who don't wanna be there, it stands out a mile and the 2 ladies, and the gentleman owner, you could just tell they get their kicks out of sending customers away feeling happy and satisfied. A 2 minute drive from the UTC, I'll pick up some flyers from you in a few weeks when I pop back in (awkward rota) to put round the wards. Just sort that 10% discount for us blue light card national treasures that keep you all fit & healthy. Keep up the great work, I wish you every success. Mark. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food, service, and pricing. The young lady at the cash register was delightful. This was my first experience at a "Chippy" and I thoroughly enjoyed an authentic experience. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and the portions were large. The mushey peas were new to me and were very tasty. I would highly recommend going to Carleton Fisheries. Especially if you haven't had an authentic Chip shop experience.
