I went to The Commons Fooderie out Reston last week and I had the best Cobb salad. I wish I could share a pet, but I just couldn’t stop eating it until it was all gone. I definitely have to return there more frequently. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

No. I have to disagree with the 58 people who so far have said so much in favor and all the beautiful photos of the food. No. Benefit of the doubt first- maybe The Commons Fooderie is a place for breakfast. I, unfortunately was here at Noon. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap with a salad instead of chips, and a bottled soda. The soda was cold. The wrap was not as good as a hot-pocket that I could have got for 3 for ten at Giant Food. Let me describe: it had chicken on it but anything else? Nope. No sauce inside- no sauce on the side. I asked and was told “that’s the way it comes”. There was one little tired pickle toward the end of the first piece and then a second pickle in the second half. Less than zero flavor. Seriously, a hot pocket. The salad was edible- some balsamic vinegar dressing and lettuce. Ok. The soda was cold - I said that already. This place seems to cater to the office captives who surround the courtyard. I must be the only person on property without a badge around my neck. I have had better shawarma at every other place I have ever had shawarma. This was a waste of money and time - a shame because I had high hopes and a good impression when I arrived. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes
