Had a fantastic experience at Drop Bar in Manchester! The food was absolutely amazing, everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. Haymish was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was my first time visiting yesterday and walked in. The service was 10/10 from the start. We were able to order drinks immediately while we waited for our food and was served initially by the owner and then at our table by the manager Syed. The food was incredible! I will definitely be recommending to my friends and I will be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited the drop bar restaurant yesterday to celebrate our Nana’s birthday. It’s quite a small restaurant yet was pretty cold inside! Granted it’s freezing at moment in the UK but I had to keep my jacket on. The tables were incredibly squished too but we were a party of 5. Food: As a vegan, sometimes it can be really difficult to find good quality food at non vegan establishments. It was nice to see a couple of vegan options on the menu. However, it would have been cool to have something a bit more unique. Although I like a good chickpea curry and sweet potato curry from time to time, it’s not exciting to see that on the menu. Some jerk tofu or soy chunks in a curry sauce I think would do wonders! But I understand this might not always be possible in the kitchen. Also, there was a fantastic deal on which gave us 50% off mains which is a great deal making the image attached £12, which is a great price. However I think I’d be highly disappointed if I received the food in the image and paid £24 for it.the party I was with aren’t vegan but enjoyed their food a lot so I think a lot of love and effort goes into the meat dishes! Service: Unfortunately the service was terrible. We waited over an hour for our main courses. Starters were forgotten and not even put through the till and it just wasn’t a good service experience sadly. It was incredibly busy with both sit-in tables and takeaways so it wasn’t a shock. They did give our table free dumpling to say sorry for the wait (which was appreciated, thank you!) but we still weren’t too happy with the service. Overall: I don’t think I’d recommend this restaurant just based off my experience. The one visit hasn’t really sold me on the place. With a lack of interesting vegan options and a really bad service, I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back. But, if you eat meat, and don’t mind waiting an hour for food, I think this place would be great. Hi jake I’m really disappointed to read your review please. Can you email me as soon as you see this so we can resolve it and offer you some sort of resolution I’d also like to know the date that you visited as well so I can investigate this internally as this as this is not up to our standard and we take reviews like this very seriously.
