Everything about this beautiful riverside pub is just exceptional. There is a pub garden by the broads and a smallish sized car park to the rear of the ferry inn. As for the food, we went all in and ordered the £30 mixed grill. It took a short while to arrive but was really worth the wait. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare, it turned up exactly that.... The chicken in other pubs that I have eaten has been overcooked and stringy, this was perfect juicy chicken with everything on the plate nicely cooked.... Yes £30 is a bit pricey but the surroundings warrant this. Of course we washed it down with an adnams and a pint of Guinness. Very impressed. Visited this pub last night. Very welcoming and lovely location. Me and partner both had the steak pie and chips and the pie was amazing. A very filling meal and very helpful, friendly landlady. Would definitely visit again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Five stars based on location and not ripping you off money wise. At time of writing (July 2026) it was £5.60 for a pint of Adnams dry hopped lager, which is far superior to the Fosters and Cruz alternatives. So my lad and I sat enjoying a couple of those by our boat which was mokres directly beside us. The sun was out and that just added to the location and the experience. Price per person: £1–10
