Is the bar this low now? My wife and I just had breakfast there. Totally average, probably less. 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of French Toast, six pieces of bacon $50. All served on the cold side of warm. Coffee was the only bright spot. You’ve got to be kidding. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I have been to the Friendly Toast more times than I can count over the past 3 decades. This is by far the worst service I ever had. It took a long time for our server to come to our table to ask me what I wanted to drink. I was waiting for a friend and I really wanted a hot cocoa (it was cold outside). It took a while for my hot cocoa. The whipped cream was already melted by the time she brought it to me. Then we ordered home fries as a starter. Which never came. The food took a while to come out. My waffle fries were cold. Our server spent a lot of time chatting with the cooks in the kitchen. She only came to our table after our first bite of food to see how it was. She dropped off the check. She did not charge us for the home fries. Then my friend went to the restroom then I did. Thinking that our server came back to the table to collect the check. She never came back. Luckily we paid in cash. On our way out she was walking back into the restaurant with a shopping bag. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
