We've eaten there three times over the past three weeks, and each meal has been underwhelming. The pub and garden are nice, the service is decent, and the menu looks fine, but it’s quite pricey and the food doesn't taste great. Good for a coffee and bacon bap though! The George Inn threw me a big surprise. I have never stopped here before, but just driven past many times over many years. However, I will definitely be stopping more often in the future. The pub itself was very clean and well set out. The garden area and rooms leading out to the garden were superb, which unless we had made the visit, we would have been none the wiser. It's a great pub for family gatherings, for sure. On top of all of the above, the food was excellent and served by many friendly and willing helpers. Thank you, the George Inn. See you again soon.
