Less meat, More money! Charged extra for the Hot Sauce, $20 for mix over rice with a small drink? Meat was only half the bowl, it get smaller and more expensive. Plus, the server gives attitude when I ask for hot sauce on the side, charged extra for small pack of hot sauce. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I have wanted to try The Halal Guys for years so I was excited to see this location. After trying it today, I don't know why there's so much hype surrounding them. The food was fresh but lacking in flavor. The only seasoning I could taste on the chicken was salt. Half of the container was lettuce and the pita bread was stale (not that big a deal, I know, but it also takes away from the experience.) I've had food from random halal carts in the city that was much better than this. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was nice and clean, but unfortunately, I won't be getting food from this location again.
